What is the MUD?
North Austin MUD #1 is our municipal governing body. They oversee the park, the pool, deed restriction enforcement, utilities, community center, and provide key services like trash and recycling services. You could say that they serve as very limited city council for the neighborhoods within their district.

What is the relationship between the RCNA and the MUD?
Though we work closely with the MUD to keep up to date on neighborhood issues, we are completely separate from the MUD. The RCNA’s mission is to foster community between the neighbors of Rattan Creek by encouraging communication and planning events for the neighborhood. Everything else such as management of the pool, community center, parks, and trash services is handled by the MUD.
